“Dynamically Guided Endodontics"

Endodontists are constantly challenged daily by the calcified tooth. While these cases are treatable, it often results in extensive clinical time and excessive tooth removal. Both static guides and dynamic navigation offer options to treat these cases. The distinct advantages of dynamic navigation over static guides will be discussed. Dynamic navigation also offers the ability to rethink the traditional endodontic access. Dr. Maupin will show cases using dynamic navigation to treat calcified canals as well as its use to allow for minimally invasive endodontic access openings.

Topics:

Dynamic Navigation

Attendees will:

  1. Understand how dynamic navigation differs from static guides
  2. List the advantages of dynamic navigation over static guides
  3. Understand how to incorporate dynamic navigation into the endodontic practice
