“Clinical Use of Bioceramic Materials"

Since the introduction of Mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) in the mid-1990's as a root-end filling material, the indications for the use of MTA has widened and several other bioceramic materials have been developed. These newer bioceramic materials have demonstrated the ability to overcome some of the significant limitations of MTA and have the potential to enhance clinical endodontic treatment.

Learning Objectives:
  1. Understanding the evolution of bioceramic materials.
  2. Understanding of the properties of bioceramic materials.
  3. Understanding of the various applications of bioceramic materials in clinical endodontics.
