“At the End of the Rope: Rescue, Restore and Risk”

When patients are confronted with the recommendation to extract a tooth, at times, they become their own advocate and seek second and third opinions. Many are influenced by negative prior experiences and insist in keeping their teeth, even though the circumstances can be less than ideal and very unpredictable.

 

Attendees will learn:

  1. The importance of honest communication among the patient, the referring doctor and endodontist.

  2. To keep it real with patient expectations: short, medium and long term outcomes. 

  3. To determine if this is not the right patient or the right case to attempt rescue and restore.
