About the Presenter:
From as early as he can remember, Shaun's life has been a series of challenges.
As the fifth child of six, he grew up in a volatile household on a tough estate in Wigan and was expelled from High School before he had the chance to gain any academic qualifications.
Shaun channeled his aggression, his physicality, and his competitive nature into playing rugby league at the highest level. He was signed to Wigan at the age of 16 and made 149 appearances for the club before spells at Leeds and Workington. He also earned two caps for Great Britain and captained the under-21’s team.
