Hopeless Tooth? Think Again!

Endodontists are often confronted with the decision of whether to recommend endodontic treatment or extraction for compromised teeth. The compromise may be due to severe bone loss of endodontic or periodontal origin, or structural compromise. Dr. Odabashian will present a series of cases in which teeth were “brought back from the dead” with endodontic and restorative treatment, including recalls of at least 5 years. He will discuss his decision-making process and the treatment protocols he used. The intent is to show “what is possible” with endodontic treatment, even in some situations where the teeth look hopeless.
