“Social Media's Growing Impact on Dentistry"

In today's world it is hard to escape the influence of Social Media. While it may have been originally used to share photos with family and friends, it is undeniable that social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram are now shaping the conversations that define our present and future. As the internet has evolved, easy access to information and social media have shifted the paradigm such that educational material can be shared with people all over the world with a simple mouse click. This created an environment where each of us now has the tools required to be a dental educator. This lecture will focus primarily on Instagram as a vehicle for sharing clinical cases that elevate the specialty of endodontics and provide mentorship for general dentist and endodontist alike.
