“Oral ulceration with bone sequestrum/Spontaneous Focal Osteonecrosis"
Though many local and systemic conditions result in oral ulcerations, bone sequestrum formation is uncommon in patients with no apparent systemic conditions and, not taking medications resulting in MRONJ. These usually present as a diagnostic dilemma and the knowledge of its clinical presentation can help in recognizing and treating this condition.

About the Presenter:
Dr. Suman Bathina received his B.D.S. from the Govt. Dental College & Hospital, India in 2001. He moved to Jamaica and practiced general dentistry. He met his mentor Dr. Sashi Nallapati in Jamaica and got interested in the field of Endodontics. He did his Endodontic preceptorship at UCLA followed by Certificate in Endodontics at USC. He then moved to Texas in 2013 and has been in private practice ever since. Dr. Bathina serves as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the department of Endodontics at Texas A&M College of Dentistry.
